Which size Pizza-Porta do I need?
Big Green Eggs come in many sizes and from a distance, they are hard to tell apart. The promotional material sometimes talks about the grate size, not the grill size. The best way to confirm which Pizza-Porta to order is to measure across the base of the grill at the center capturing the outside diameter. Here are images of the sizes of Big Green Egg that we fit.
Minimax and Small
At 15 1/2” across, These units both use the Pizza-Porta Small
Medium
The Medium is 18” across. The Medium Pizza-Porta fits this model
Large
This is the most popular sized Big Green Egg. It measures 21 1/2 inches across. The Large 2.0 Pizza-Porta fits this model. There is a version of this model for cooking 2 pizzas at a time. See this version of the Large 2.0 here.
XL
